How does the waste factor work? +
The waste factor allows you to add an extra percentage to your wax and fragrance calculations to compensate for material that stays in the pitcher or tools during pouring. CandleLab calculates it automatically based on your recipe.
Can I use the app offline? +
Yes! CandleLab works 100% offline. All your calculations and inventory are saved locally on your device. You only need a connection for Pro price updates or to export your data to the cloud.
What is included in the free version? +
The free version includes full access to the advanced calculator and allows you to save up to 3 calculations. You can get extra slots by watching rewarded ads, allowing you to test all basic functions at no cost.
How are production costs calculated? +
CandleLab Pro uses the prices you register in your inventory to calculate the proportional cost of wax, fragrance, wick, and container for each candle. This allows you to know your real profit margin before you start manufacturing.
Can I switch between grams and ounces? +
Absolutely. CandleLab supports automatic conversions between grams, ounces, pounds, and kilograms. You can change your unit preference at any time in the settings.
Who can see my formulas? +
No one but you. Your data is stored locally on your device and is never sent to our servers. Your intellectual property is 100% safe and private.
If I change phones, do I lose my data? +
If you are a Pro user, you can export a backup of all your data (inventory, recipes, history) and easily restore it on your new device.
